Australia / New Zealand Head Office
Units 1-2,

Zimmer Australia was established in 1974 as a subsidiary of Zimmer in the
United States. The head office was located at Chatswood, Sydney, New
South Wales and encompassed 750 square metres of space. There were 15
staff members.
In 1987, the head office relocated to larger
premises at Frenchs Forest, Sydney, New South Wales. It remains here
today and, as part of the integration with Centerpulse in 2003, has
recently been refurbished to include an expansion of office, loan set and
warehouse space.
The building now encompasses two large units and
is 3111 square metres of space. There are about 100 staff members who use
this office as their base.
Over the years, Zimmer Australia has
grown so that today there is an office in each state and there are an
additional 80 staff members across Australia.

These state offices were established as distribution centres and they now
include sales and customer service teams. This ensures that the needs of
local customers can be given the highest priority.
The expansion of
Zimmer Australia enables the company to maintain its high standard of
customer service and ensures next day delivery of our products through most
of Australia.
Zimmer Australia continues to maintain operations as a
division of Zimmer Inc located in Warsaw, Indiana.
